01 / What it does

Kukino turns saved cooking videos and recipe pages into a personal collection. I built the React Native app and server, connecting shared links, transcription and AI analysis with ingredients and cooking steps. The collection supports search, chat and shopping lists. The same interface runs on iPhone and in a browser.

Inside the product

The details make the difference.

Keep recipes connected to their sources

Video, captions and speech inform the analysis. The original link stays with the result.

Put the recipe to work

Adjust servings and move ingredients to a shopping list. Cooking mode focuses on individual steps.

Ask questions about your collection

Chat works with your saved recipes and helps find suitable dishes again.

How it comes together

  1. 01Share a link
  2. 02Extract the recipe
  3. 03Plan ingredients
  4. 04Cook step by step

A saved link becomes a usable recipe. Ingredients, sources and instructions stay together for shopping and cooking.

The iPhone app has been delivered as a beta. Images show the browser app with sample data.

02 / What I built

  1. 01A background pipeline reads videos and recipe pages, transcribes speech and produces structured recipes.
  2. 02A library, search and chat connect personal recipe data with retained sources.
  3. 03Shopping lists, serving adjustments and a cooking mode bring the collection into daily use. Authentication and data management are part of the product.
